Manicure Monday: OPI Over The Taupe

Happy Monday Loves! Hope you all had a restful & relaxing weekend. My sister introduced me to this polish from O.P.I. called "Over The Taupe" a few years ago & since then I was obsessed!! I usually pull out this polish during the Fall season because it just makes me feel nice & cozy. Let's take a look below!

Over The Taupe is a warm, milk chocolate, taupe creme polish (love!).

It applied beautifully, even though the formula is on the runnier side. 2 coats got it to full opacity!

Pair O.P.I.'s Over The Taupe polish with a warm cozy sweater & you are all set for Fall! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead & thank you so much for reading!

Michael Kors Bromley Flat Boot

Hello Darlings! I was on the hunt for the perfect leather knee high boot & I think I have finally found it!! It is the Michael Kors "Bromley Flat Boot" for $258 CAD. This boot fits like a glove for my feet!! Love it.

I love the slightly pointed-round toes of the boots.

Gorgeous gold details! MK wording on the zipper handle & gold zipper along the inner sides of the boots.

Medium thick heel!

I also appreciate the contrast of smooth & rough leather on the front & back of the boot. Love that the back leather is stretchy for added comfort!

You can definitely pair this with some comfy leggings, knee high socks, skirts & dresses that would be perfect for the cool Fall/Winter season! These boots will definitely keep my feet & legs warm for those cold rainy & snowy days to come! I love how sleek & beautiful they look on. Definitely will be on rotation and a classic in my wardrobe this season!

As always, thank you so much for reading & hope you have a great day! Mmuah.

Manicure Monday: Sonia Kashuk Wicked Attraction

Happy Monday Loves! It has definitely been awhile since I last did a Mani Monday post (due to the big move I recently did). I wanted to get back into it with a gorgeous Fall polish from Sonia Kashuk called "Wicked Attraction". Let's check it out below!

Wicked Attraction is a gorgeous deep, rich, vampy red/burgundy shade. Definitely a great name for it & what makes it so "wicked" is that this polish does have a hint of black in it as well.

You guys know I LOVE Sonia Kashuk's polishes & this polish applied smoothly and got opaque with 2 coats. The finish is shiny but I applied a coat of my out the door top coat as well!

Sonia Kashuk's Wicked Attraction leaves my nails with a bold look for Fall. To attract even more wickedness ^___~, pair this polish with a vampy lip & you are all set for a Fall look!

Thank you so much for reading & hope you have a wonderful week!!

Sonia Kashuk Fall 2014: Lustrous Shine Lip Crayon & Chic Defining Contour Stick Review

Hi Loves! Sonia Kashuk has recently launched her Fall 2014 collection in Target stores, yay!! I've always adored Sonia Kashuk's beauty products so I was super excited. I picked up 2 products out of the collection, the "Lustrous Shine Lip Crayon" ($8.99 CAD) & "Chic Defining Contour Stick" ($10.99 CAD).

Claims:

Lustrous Shine Lip Crayon- This luscious lip formula does it all, delivering high-impact color, ultimate shine and the comfort of a balm in one convenient twist-up crayon. The moisturizing color keeps lips smooth and supple, contains Myrrh Resin Extract for a plumping effect and broad spectrum filters to protect from UVA and UVB rays.

Chic Defining Contour Stick- Sculpt chiseled, flawless facial features with this easy-to-use contour stick. Infused with African Walnut Seed Oil, an antioxidant that is rich in fatty acids and proteins, and Pistachio Butter to moisturize and soften skin, this lightweight formula melts into the skin and blends effortlessly. The Chic Defining Contour Stick instantly creates defined, picture perfect cheeks.

Sonia Kashuk is well known for her matte black packaging. The Lustrous Shine Lip Crayon has a swatch of the shade as well on the bottom. In my opinion, the swatch on the outside packaging is definitely not 1:1 with the product inside. I love that it is retractable, easy!

I picked up "Dahlia" which is a beautiful deep berry shade, perfect for Fall/Winter!

Hands down THE BEST lip crayon in the drugstores! It glides on my lips so effortlessly & smoothly with the most beautiful pigmentation to it. I love how it feels incredibly hydrating on my lips as well!

Love the pointed tip! Great for when you want to define your cupids bow or getting into the outter corners of your lips.

Swatched. Top-bottom, 1-3 layers. You can definitely build up the intensity! The lasting power is like a regular lipstick, it will come off if you eat or drink and does not leave a stain on my lips when removed with a tissue. I highly recommend you guys check Sonia Kashuk's Lustrous Shine Lip Crayons out, it's amazing!!

Next up, I picked up her Chic Defining Contour Stick because I never seen anything like this in the drugstores before!

This contour stick is also amazing as well! At first, I thought it might be too orange for my complexion but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't when I applied it.

It glides on my face so smoothly & effortlessly. Right away, the pigmentation was out of this world! A little does go a long way and a light hand is needed as well if you don't want it too dramatic. I blend it out with my clean fingers but you can definitely use a brush as well. This bronzer blends beautifully & it just melts into your skin!

I use this on the hollows of my cheeks, along my jawline, temples & forehead. I do not however recommend you use this on the sides of your nose. I tried it and the product is too warm & it looks really obvious. I love how it makes my skin looks sun kissed & naturally bronzed! It is quite hydrating and perfect for the upcoming cold Fall/Winter months.

The bronzer lasted on my face all day long without fading. If you wanted to touch up during the evening to go out, you can definitely do so. It will not cake or blotch, love!

I really want to get my hands on Sonia Kashuk's Facial Oil in her Fall 2014 collection as well. I haven't had any luck on finding it yet! Let me know if you are planning to pick up any of her Fall goodies. I hope this review was helpful to you & as always thank you so much for reading!
