Manicure Monday: OPI Big Apple Red

Happy Monday Loves! I am totally loving today's Mani Monday, OPI's "Big Apple Red". Let's take a look at this gorgeous polish down below!

Big Apple Red is a ultra classic red polish. It's not too blue & not too orange, just the perfect red!

It is a creme polish with a bold, vibrant, pigmented and rich color.  It gets fully opaque in 2 coats with a glossy finish. Formula was not too thick or thin & made applying it very easy. No pooling, bubbling or streaking involved! Thank goodness for that because red polish can be very tricky to apply.

OPI's Big Apple Red will definitely suit any skin tone & will look great on long or short nails. This is truly a beautiful, classic red polish that could be worn for any occasion. Everyone needs this one in their collection!

Manicure Monday: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark

HAPPY 1ST MONDAY OF THE NEW YEAR LOVES!! I cannot believe it is 2015 already, that is cray! Today's Mani Monday is OPI's "Lincoln Park After Dark". I actually wore this for NYE so lets check it out below.

Lincoln Park After Dark is a deep purple (eggplant/plum) polish with a creme finish. On the nails, it does look like a black polish but not as harsh. It has a beautiful shiny sheen to it even without top coat. I think this will look flattering on any skin tone!

The formula is excellent & it applied smoothly and evenly in just 2 coats. This polish is super classy & elegant. Definitely a softer alternative to a black polish & it is great for all seasons and occasions!

Manicure Monday: OPI Princesses Rule!

Happy Monday Darlings! Today's Manicure Monday is a super special one, OPI's "Princesses Rule". If you follow me on my main (DafyneMeBella) or vlog (VlogsWithLinda) You Tube channel you would already know that I announced the gender of our baby! IT'S A GIRL!!! My husband Allan & I are super happy and cannot wait to meet our beautiful baby girl. 

I thought this polish would only be appropriate. Let's check it out below!

"Princesses Rule" is a absolutely gorgeous sheer baby pink shimmer shade. The shimmers are silver, which almost makes it look like it has a foil finish.  It's a very flattering "healthy" looking pink- brightens your skin! OPI makes the best sheer crystal polishes in my opinion. It applies so smoothly & easily. What I love most about this polish is that it is very versatile. If you prefer a more subtle look, 1 coat gets you a sheer, clear with a hint of light pink shimmer to your nails. I applied 2 coats for my nails but if you want a more dramatic shimmer nails with the fullest opacity, definitely apply 3. Another reason why I love this polish so much is it has a quick drying time, yay!

Out in the sun my nails look so pretty & sparkly! Definitely made for a princess & I can't stop staring at it. My baby girl is going to be my little princess and I couldn't think of a better polish than OPI's Princesses Rule to go with my very special announcement!

Manicure Monday: OPI Malaga Wine

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a restful weekend. Today's Mani Monday is OPI's "Malaga Wine".

This creme polish is a gorgeous deep wine red. It applied smoothly & 2 coats is all you need for full opacity!

Malaga Wine would look beautiful on any skin tone & I think it would look great on the toes as well. It has a glossy finish and is the perfect red for any holiday party. If you are looking for a rich red polish, I highly recommend this one! You will LOVE it.

Manicure Monday: OPI Haven't The Foggiest

Happy Monday Darlings! OPI's "Haven't The Foggiest" is today's Mani Monday. Let's take a look below!

I've never tried anything like this polish before & I love it! Haven't The Foggiest is a shimmery metallic deep grey shade. 

I applied 2 coats & I was so surprised at how easy this polish was to apply. The pigmentation of this shimmery polish is really amazing! You definitely have to apply it with a light hand because it is very easy to see the brush strokes on your nails with this polish.

What makes me love this polish even more is it's quick drying time.

Manicure Monday: OPI Alpine Snow

Happy Monday! Since there is snow right outside my window right now, I thought this polish would be only appropriate! Let's check out "Alpine Snow" by OPI down below.

I absolutely love creme polishes & this one is just that! Alpine snow is a crisp, white creme polish & I applied 1 thin coat first & than a thicker 2nd coat to even it out.

I love white polishes on my nails because it makes it look super clean & refreshing!

Manicure Monday: OPI Tickle My France-Y

Happy Monday! Today's Mani Monday is "Tickle My France-Y" by OPI. Let's check it out below!

This polish is a muted purple shade. More like a nude, mauve color with a hint of brown to it. When you are indoors, the polish looks more brown then mauve & the opposite when you are outdoors. Very transformative!

I applied 2 coats for full opacity. Formula glided on very smoothly & evenly!

OPI's Tickle My France-Y will definitely be a fave polish of mine because it just looks effortlessly beautiful on.

If you haven't noticed from the 1st picture, these OPI polishes are mini's! I bought this gift set from Costco the other day. Since I haven't tried most of these shades out, I thought it would be fun to feature them on my Mani Monday posts. So definitely look forward to each of these cuteys every Monday until I have officially tried them all!

Manicure Monday: OPI Eiffel For This Color & Sally Hansen Midnight Glitz

Hi my loves! It has been forever since my last blog post (just switched from wordpress to blogger). Definitely promising myself to keep up with the blog posts this year + I miss you guys (my darling readers) as well! Today’s Mani Monday is a polish my sister actually gifted me (OPI). I also topped it off with the Sally Hansen polish. Let’s check them out below!

Sally Hansen’s Midnight Glitz is a polish I recently picked up, it is fairly new to the drugstores. It’s basically a glitter topper & it has gold holographic hex/regular glitter and black matte glitter in a clear base- super pretty! I used one layer of it on my nails & it applied very smoothly. Next up we have OPI’s Eiffel For This Color & it is a dark vampy polish with a bit of purple shimmer to it. I used two coats.

I don’t know about you guys but when I looked at the Midnight glitz polish, I immediately thought that a black polish would go perfectly with it. When it came time to use this baby, I thought “Hey why don’t I use a dark purple polish instead!” Since there were gold glitters in the midnight glitz polish, I thought a deep purple polish would go so perfectly with it- and I was spot on! Using a dark purple polish as the base showcases the matte black glitters & also the gold glitters as well- in a subtle (but different) way of course.

This glitter topper by Sally Hansen- Midnight Glitz will definitely amp up any manicure. It’s not an overly glittery polish, which I appreciate. It just adds the right amount of glitz to your mani!
